Save Yeppoon TAFE – Stop the Secret Plan

To the Honourable Speaker and Members of the Queensland Legislative Assembly,

We, the undersigned residents of Queensland, oppose the proposed conversion of the Yeppoon TAFE site into an Aboriginal school for troubled and disengaged youth.

The decision has been made without proper community consultation, and the approval of the Queensland Government is still required.

We believe the Yeppoon TAFE site, located beside the Yeppoon High School on Tabone Street, is not an appropriate location for this initiative. A more suitable alternative should be considered in consultation with the community.

    This is an abhorrent decision and should not go ahead. Crime is already high enough in Yeppoon without this.

    Put them in Woorabinda or build a school next to the politicians kids schools in Brisbane.
