- Senator Roberts' Talks: Engagement and Relevance Survey
Small business owner, Michelle Wilde, is married with four boys after a career as a corporate lawyer. As a resident of the Clayfield electorate, Michelle and her family have been victims of Labor’s crime – a crime crisis that the LNP have done nothing about and have no solutions for.
She is passionate about protecting the freedoms that are important to all Queenslanders with less Government interference in business and family life. Michelle believes in financially responsible Government policies and reducing the green and red tape that is stifling innovation and economic growth.
It is Michelle's strongly held view that the major two-party preferred system is not serving the real needs of Queenslanders. "This is time for greater accountability and transparency from our government through sustainable policies to ensure we maintain our unique way of life, long into the future."
Michelle's goals are to assist One Nation in jump-starting Queensland’s decimated small businesses, allowing us to take back personal and medical freedoms, and ending irresponsible government spending. To achieve this, she sees the need to reduce taxes and red tape for small businesses and address the powers that government used to issue mandates, lockdowns, and restrictions on personal freedoms. Michelle agrees wholeheartedly with Pauline Hanson's call for a COVID Royal Commission to investigate the advice state and federal governments relied on for their pandemic measures.
Now that Queensland is left with massive debts in the wake of COVID and other spending sprees, there's an urgent need at every level of government to balance the books and secure a sustainable economic future for our children. Michelle has what it takes to fight for Queensland’s future.
I’m passionate about Clayfield and I’ve dedicated my career to delivering for our community.
