Livingstone Shire Council Rejects Sponsorship From Pauline Hanson
As many Australian Idol fans are aware, Queensland has had its fair share of talent on the show this year - but none more successful than Denvah and Trent from Central Queensland.
Livingstone Shire Council were scrounging around for $2,000 from a sponsor to put this Sunday's show on a rented big screen.
I offered to put the money up to support the community and these two great Queenslanders, but the offer was rejected.
What a shame!
The CEO and mayor certainly didn't have a problem when I secured them $13 million for the new Cooee Bay pool complex.
In the mean time, Trent and his family have organised a celebration like no other at Emu Park tomorrow with the Idol cameras in tow.
Everyone is welcome to attend Trent's camel farm on Emu Park Road at 5pm tomorrow afternoon (March 14).
Best of luck to you both, and let's hope everyone in CQ gets behind the pair of you.
