James Ashby to Lead One Nation Team in Queensland

One Nation candidate for Keppel James Ashby will lead the party to the Queensland state election.

Federal leader Senator Pauline Hanson said Mr Ashby would provide the leadership and vision that had been missing in Queensland for many years.

“James has worked at my side for almost 10 years, and he’s been instrumental in much of what One Nation has delivered for Queensland,” Senator Hanson said.

“I have great faith in his leadership qualities. His ability to connect with voters, to work with community and business leaders and politicians is admirable.

“He’s been running a great campaign for the seat of Keppel in Central Queensland. He’s been a great advocate for regional communities across the state which are struggling under escalating youth crime, Labor’s cost-of-living and housing crises, and poor health services.

“James has shown he has a real vision for the future of Queensland.

“One Nation is taking a strong and talented team to this election. They’re working hard to win the support of Queenslanders with sensible policies, real accountability, and a passion for the betterment of their communities.

“They’re campaigning for the change that Queensland needs. We must get rid of Labor after many long, frustrating years but considering the LNP has backed so many of Labor’s disastrous policies, that change isn’t going to come from them.

“One Nation is the genuine alternative choice for Queenslanders who want effective policiesto deal with escalating crime, reduce the cost of living, address the housing crisis, get a fairer deal for regional communities, and defend democracy and equality for all Queenslanders.

“With One Nation holding the balance of power in Parliament, we’ll put an end to the divisive ‘path to treaty’ process, put an end to transfers of land to unaccountable indigenous organisations without community consent, and put an end to indigenous place name changes without meaningful consultation with all Queenslanders regardless of race.

“We’ll support nation-building infrastructure in our state. We’ll stop the indoctrination of kids in our schools. We’ll demand an independent energy policy that reduces power bills and stops toxic wind turbines and solar panels spreading across regional Queensland like a malignant cancer. We’ll get rid of the net-zero nonsense that will destroy our economy.

“With the support of voters in Keppel and across the state, James Ashby will lead a quality team into Parliament with a vision to achieve a prosperous, fair and united Queensland.”
