James Ashby Criticises Plan for Indigenous School at Former Yeppoon TAFE Site

One Nation Chief of Staff and former Keppel candidate James Ashby has criticised plans to convert the former Yeppoon TAFE site into an Indigenous-led independent school for disengaged youth. He argues the location, next to Yeppoon State High School, is inappropriate and has raised concerns over the lack of public consultation. Meanwhile, Keppel MP Nigel Hutton and the proposed school’s organisers defend the initiative, calling it an alternative learning model for students struggling in mainstream education.
