David White, a local Brisbane Bayside business owner, is deeply ingrained in the fabric of the Wynnum/Manly community. Known for his active involvement with the local Scout Group, Girl Guides, and various churches, David is a familiar and respected figure committed to enhancing the lives of those around him. Raised by a single mother in a small country town of fewer than one hundred people, David's early life was marked by resilience and determination. Despite the challenges, he completed high school and pursued various TAFE technical courses before attending university, where he studied Economics and E-Business. These educational experiences equipped him with a strong foundation in understanding economic principles and the digital landscape.

David's journey hasn't been easy, but it has been rich with learning experiences. His time as a volunteer firefighter in the Rural Fire Service instilled in him the value of mateship and community—a fundamental aspect of Australian culture. This period in his life cemented his strong sense of purpose and commitment to maintaining Australia as the best place to live and raise children. David’s values are deeply rooted in wholesome principles. He is a proponent of less government interference in people’s lives and believes in the importance of raising children in a stable and unified Queensland, advocating for a “Queensland for all Queenslanders.” His extensive work in the tech industry has given him unique insights into the influence of the internet on families, making him a staunch opponent of the Digital ID, which he views as an invasion of privacy and ineffective in curbing negative online influences.

David is dedicated to addressing the cost of living crisis and ensuring affordable energy through proven and stable technologies that keep the lights on during times of uncertainty. He advocates for a practical, commonsense approach to policies, steering clear of grandstanding and superficial solutions. His vision is to make Lytton the best place in Australia to live, anchored by strong ethics, family values, and a commitment to doing the right thing. David’s commitment to community and family extends beyond politics. He has been a primary carer for his mother and cared for his grandmother until her passing, all while being a dedicated husband and father. This personal experience has provided him with a profound understanding of community support, care, and the impact of kindness and family values on people.

As a candidate for One Nation, David White brings a blend of traditional values and modern sensibility, driven by a genuine desire to serve his community and improve the lives of his constituents. His practical, no-nonsense approach to policy and unwavering dedication to family and community values make him a strong advocate for Lytton and a candidate worth supporting. David believes the government should support families with holistic approaches rather than quick fixes. His dedication to protecting women’s rights, addressing mental health issues, reforming the youth justice system, and improving Queensland's health system reflects his commitment to creating a first-class medical system for all.

I’m passionate about Lytton and I’ve dedicated my career to delivering for our community.
