Angela Gunson is a passionate environmentalist concerned for the Currumbin electorate, which is experiencing a disastrous surge of overdevelopment along the coastal suburbs. This overdevelopment has a butterfly effect on the coastline, Sealife, native wildlife, and waterways.

Running as a candidate for One Nation, Angela believes that the party's environmental policies are realistic and honest, with the environment as the primary focus. These policies are designed to protect and sustain the environment for future generations.

As a mum of teenagers who love living in the best place in Queensland, Angela is deeply committed to preserving the unique character and natural beauty of Currumbin. Having moved to Bilinga nine years ago and restored an old fibro beach house, she is dedicated to maintaining the beach/country town atmosphere that makes Currumbin so special.

A Gold Coast resident for over 30 years, Angela is keenly aware of the importance of standing up against overdevelopment to protect the way of life that she and so many others cherish. Her commitment extends to volunteering with the “Watergum// SeaWorld” Turtle Watch Programme, where she monitors sea turtles along the beaches.

Angela also runs a small online homeware business, keeping her connected to the struggles of local businesses during these tough times. Her policies focus on supporting small businesses to help them thrive in the electorate.

Angela's deep connection to the Currumbin community, her love for the environment, and her determination to protect the area from overdevelopment make her the right candidate to represent Currumbin.

Let our voices keep our electorate the way we love it. Vote for change!
