- Senator Roberts' Talks: Engagement and Relevance Survey
Clay Harland is a passionate and driven advocate for the people of Condamine, standing as One Nation's candidate in the upcoming Queensland state election. Clay has a deep-rooted knowledge of Queensland’s history and understands the challenges that rural and agricultural communities face. The electorate of Condamine, which covers a vast region including Dalby, Oakey, and parts of the Darling Downs, is the backbone of Queensland’s farming and rural industry.
With decades of experience working closely with local communities, Clay is focused on ensuring that Condamine remains a vital part of Queensland's agricultural economy. He recognizes the critical role that water management, infrastructure, and rural business development play in the prosperity of this region. He is committed to fighting for better water security for farmers, advocating for upgrades to road and transport infrastructure, and ensuring that local businesses thrive in an increasingly globalised economy.
Clay is also determined to combat the influence of big corporations and elites in politics, believing that their control has stifled rural growth and caused the neglect of rural communities. He is committed to fighting corruption, promoting transparency in government, and ensuring that the voices of everyday Queenslanders are heard.
Condamine deserves leadership that truly understands and supports rural Queensland. I’m here to stand up for our farmers and ensure that the voices of Condamine are heard in Brisbane.
