Brad Trussell, a 35-year-old family man and third-generation welder, is proud to call Ipswich West his lifelong home. With strong roots in the local community, Brad is dedicated to improving the quality of life for residents and ensuring the region continues to thrive. His background spans the welding, transport, mining, and trucking industries, giving him firsthand insight into the challenges working families face due to increasing living costs.

As a passionate advocate for Australian jobs, Brad aims to expand the National Apprenticeship Scheme, ensuring more young people have access to meaningful employment opportunities. "Supporting our youth through apprenticeships and hands-on opportunities is essential to building a strong future for Queensland," Brad says.

Brad and his wife are the proud parents of three children, sharing a commitment to quality education. He believes in restoring critical thinking and fundamental skills in classrooms to better prepare the next generation. "We need to focus on real education—preparing our kids with practical knowledge and not just ideology," he emphasizes.

Brad’s experience in politics includes previous runs for One Nation in Oxley during the 2016 Federal Election and Ipswich West in the 2017 State Election. His combination of working-class values and political experience makes him a strong advocate for the people of Ipswich West. Through One Nation, Brad aims to tackle crime, improve access to apprenticeships, and ease the financial pressures families are facing.
